We aim for seamless integration of biological and psychological factors, in the reports we provide before the courts, for injuries sustained.
-
Our reports can be used in various legal settings – RAF, medical-negligence, personal injury, and injury on duty claims, to name a few.
Clinical Interviews
Interviews are conducted in order to ascertain the severity of symptoms, and the impact of the event being investigated for report.
These interviews are conducted by the clinical psychologists, psychometrist , and or nurse.
Psychometric Tests
Psychometric testing involves the use of various standardized tests and questionnaires in order to gain meaningful understanding of the symptoms and complains of the client.
The results of the psychometric tests are also used to correlate the results of the EEG with the reported symptoms.
Psychophysiological assessment (special focus on EEG)
EEG sensors/ electrodes are placed on the client’s head to record brainwaves, in the same way as is done when doing a routine EEG assessment.
These graphics reflect, in real-time, the state and activity of the client’s brain.
They show whether or not, for example, whether the client is producing too much or too little electrical energy in one or several locations on the brain.
Certain aspects or patterns of brain activity correlate with the symptoms following brain injury.
